servicemen of Indian Army with a annual intake of 50 students for B Sc
Nursing course and 20 students for M Sc Nursing course per year. As a
welfare measure, towards people residing in North East Region, 10% seats
are reserved for the civilian students (girls) who are domicile of
seven North East States. It was a landmark in the history of Nursing
Education when this college was inaugurated on 07 Aug 2006 by Gen J J
Singh, PVSM, AVSM, VSM, ADC, the then Chief of Army Staff (COAS).
