Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
1. Maintenance & Repair of Two-Wheelers

Perform routine maintenance and repairs on two-wheelers, including checking engine performance, changing oils, replacing spark plugs, and repairing brakes.

Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and performance issues in two-wheelers and provide appropriate solutions.

Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles to identify potential problems and recommend necessary repairs.

Repair or replace damaged parts and components (e.g., tires, chains, cables, etc.) to restore vehicle functionality.
2. Engine & Electrical Work

Perform engine overhauls, including valve adjustments, carburetor tuning, and ignition system repairs.

Diagnose and repair electrical systems, including wiring, lighting, and battery-related issues.

Conduct tests on electrical systems (e.g., starter motor, alternator) to ensure proper functionality.

Install and maintain electrical accessories, such as horns, indicators, and lights.
3. Customer Interaction

Communicate with customers to understand the issues they are facing with their vehicles.

Explain to customers the necessary repairs, parts required, and estimated time of completion.

Provide accurate estimates for labor and parts costs before beginning any work.

Maintain professionalism while interacting with customers, addressing their concerns, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
4. Vehicle Diagnostics

Use diagnostic tools and equipment to troubleshoot issues related to the engine, electrical systems, and other parts of two-wheelers.

Perform system checks, adjustments, and calibrations to ensure vehicles run efficiently and safely.

Record and report all findings, repairs, and services performed on customer vehicles.
5. Preventive Maintenance

Advise customers on the importance of regular maintenance and the best practices for extending the life of their two-wheelers.

Perform preventive maintenance tasks, including cleaning and lubricating parts, tightening bolts, and checking tire pressures.

Help customers schedule follow-up maintenance services to ensure their vehicles remain in optimal condition.
6. Workshop Organization

Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including tools, equipment, and parts.

Ensure all safety protocols are followed to prevent accidents or injuries.

Keep track of service records for each vehicle and ensure documentation is accurate and up-to-date.

Handle tools and equipment properly and maintain them in good working condition.
