Job Description
We are seeking a Typist/Computer Operator to join our legal team in a fast-paced law office environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for typing and formatting legal documents, data entry, and providing administrative support to attorneys and staff.
Responsibilities:-
Type and format legal documents including contracts, pleadings, and correspondence

Transcribe dictations and handwritten notes accurately

Manage and update client records and case files

Perform data entry and maintain legal databases
-
Operate office equipment (computers, printers, scanners, etc.)

Assist with general clerical duties such as filing, printing, copying, and scanning

Handle emails and correspondence related to casework

Ensure confidentiality of all sensitive and legal information

High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification is a plus

Proven experience as a typist, data entry clerk, or computer operator (legal experience preferred)

Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)

Knowledge of legal terminology and document formatting

Excellent typing speed (50+ WPM) with high accuracy

Strong attention to detail and time management skills

Ability to work independently and as part of a team
