Job Description
As a UI/UX Designer, you will help shape and deliver world-class user experiences across Novartis products and the broader ecosystem. You will work with a multidisciplinary Consumer Experience team to create product designs that align with and extend the Novartis Experience across patients, customers, and colleagues—across devices and platforms. You bring a strong user mindset, excellent communication skills, and the ability to balance end-to-end experience thinking with attention to detail. You are confident presenting design rationale and principles—supported by data—to stakeholders at all levels, and you partner closely with Product and Engineering teams through iterative design sprints within a lean, Agile delivery model.
Key Responsibilities
Translate business and user needs into clear user flows, wireframes, and high-fidelity UI designs.
Create consistent, hierarchy-driven layouts and ensure strong visual design fundamentals (typography, colour, spacing, and composition).
Design interaction patterns and states (e.g., hover, focus, empty, error, success) that improve usability and consistency.
Contribute to and maintain design systems, templates, and standards aligned to the Novartis Experience.
Partner with Product and Engineering to iterate through design sprints and support lean, Agile delivery.
Prepare clear design specifications and assets to enable efficient developer handoff.
