Job Description
We are looking for a Customer Support Executive to provide first-level support to customers using HPE hardware, servers, storage, and related IT infrastructure. The candidate will be responsible for handling customer queries, logging incidents, troubleshooting basic technical issues, coordinating with field engineers, and ensuring timely resolution as per SLA requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Act as the first point of contact for customer support requests via phone, email, chat, or ticketing tools.
Log, track, and manage incidents and service requests in the ticketing system.
Provide basic troubleshooting for HPE servers, desktops, laptops, storage devices, and peripherals.
Diagnose hardware and software issues and escalate complex problems to L2/L3 teams.
Coordinate with field service engineers for onsite support activities.
Monitor tickets to ensure SLA compliance and timely resolution.
Update customers on ticket status and resolution progress.
Maintain accurate documentation of incidents, troubleshooting steps, and resolutions.
Assist customers with password resets, account-related issues, and basic system support.
Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through effective communication and problem-solving.
Required Skills
Technical Skills
Basic knowledge of HPE products and services.
Understanding of computer hardware and operating systems.
Windows Operating Systems.
Basic Networking (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).
MS Office 365.
Ticketing tools (ServiceNow, Remedy, Jira, Freshservice, etc.).
Email and Remote Support.
Customer Service Skills
Excellent verbal and written communication.
Customer handling and issue resolution.
Incident Management.
Problem-solving and troubleshooting.
Time management and multitasking.
