UI Engineer
Work Experience : 3-5 years
What kind of experience & skills do I need for this role?
- 2-3 years of relevant work experience Be fluent in HTML5, Javascript, Angular 2/4, CSS3, Responsive Design, JS build systems,(SCSS, Webpack, Grunt, Karma, Jasmine), jQuery. Have experience in developing mobile optimized, cross browser compatible UIs.
- Be able to convert designs(PSDs, Zeplin) to apps(HTML/hybrid). Core Javascript experience with a good knowledge of JavaScript design patterns and best practices. Good understanding of client-sever architectures, asynchronous request handling and partial page updates.
- Experience working with REST APIs and web-services. Strong analytical skills and the ability to evaluate navigational data to improve intuitiveness and navigability Product oriented thinking – you code to solve problems of millions and not just features taiolered for individuals, you should be able to decide the UI/UX features that best fit the majority usage patterns.
- Being able to produce creative sketches will also be a big plus.
- Excitement and willingness to work with a startup and a drive to solve problems in the field of education will earn you a lot of brownie points.
What should I have graduated in?
- Graduate with some years of experience managing people.
- AI experience is an added plus.
