United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) invites applications for the position of Project Assistant (Monitoring & Evaluation) (NPSA5)
Location: Jamnagar, India
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in environmental science and social science, rural management, environmental engineering, or related area
Experience:
A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in data handling/data management/MIS /Report writing
Good analytical, communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills on the impacts of the project
Understanding of waste management
Knowledge of Computer (minimum: Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Knowledge of data mapping, data analysis, and report writing
Expertise in analyzing data using statistical software;
Intellectual and analytical capacity to understand the principles, policies, and compliance requirements of circular economy, extended producer responsibility, and waste management and apply them to the M&E/MIS practice
Proven ICT skills, especially in the development of MIS software using database software
Ability to consistently approach work with energy and a positive constructive attitude;
Ability to demonstrate openness to change and ability to manage complexities;
Ability to prioritize assignments and requirements, and multitask as needed;
Ability to work independently with limited supervision
Ability to integrate technology into various aspects of the project for planning, rollout, and monitoring
Language Requirement: Excellent knowledge of written and spoken English and Hindi is essential.
