Job Description
United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) invites application for the position Monitoring and Evaluation Officer
Locations: New Delhi, India
Education:At least Bachelor’s degree in Statistics or Economics or equivalent from a reputed university with four years of experience, or Master’s degree with two years of experience.
Experience:
a) Up to two (with Master’s degree) or four (with Bachelor’s degree) years of experience in the insurance business with strong statistical background with experience in survey design to be able to design the M&E framework
b) Demonstrated experience in managing rural finance, especially insurance projects
c) Strong technical background in Monitoring & Evaluation and Result Based Management Frameworks
d) Relevant Experience at the national level working with Governments and large international donor projects
e) Experience of working with Central and/or State Governments/ international agencies/ on similar assignments will be preferred
f) Prior experience of technical advisory services in the insurance sector
Language Requirement: Excellent oral and writing skills in English and Hindi
Travel: Limited travel as and when required to discharge official duties.
