Job Description

United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) invites application for the position Individual Consultant

Location: Home based with travel

Educational qualifications: The Technical Consultant should have professional qualification of B.E./BTech in the relevant field (Plastics, Production, Mechanical, Electrical or Instrumentation)

Experience: The Technical Consultant should have at least 5 years of experience in working on design and implementation of mechanised plastic processing plants or similar environment management projects.

The individual should have a sound understanding on the design and working of plastic processing machinery (from sorting and segregation of plastics to production of granules/pellets/ flakes)

The individual should have an experience with similar high-value procurement process.

Experience working with Governments (state or central) will be desirable.

Language requirements:

The persons assigned by the firm should have fluency in spoken and written English. Additional local language knowledge (Malayalam) will be advantageous.
