Project Fellow Job in University of Kashmir at Srinagar

Applications on plain paper are invited from interested and eligible candidates for one position of ‘Project Fellow’ in the JKST&IC (DST) sponsored project entitled ‘Documentation and community-based conservation of endemic and threatened medicinal Rheum species from Kupwara belt of Kashmir Himalayas’. The applications must contain photocopy of all the essential qualification certificates besides the detailed CV including a brief statement of research interests and future goals. The positionis purely temporary and coterminus with the project and will be initially for the period of one year.

3. Stipend: Rs. 12,000/- per month (consolidated)

4. Essential Qualifications: M.Sc. Botany (with at least 55% marks) no more than two years before the date of this advertisement. Preference will be given to the candidate with strong interests in molecular biology,phytochemistry and biostatistics. Preliminary skills in related wet-lab work shall be an edge.
