Qualifications 

Assistant Professor/ Assistant Professor Research

Qualifications : i) Good academic record with at least 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed) at the Master’s Degree level in concerned subject from an Indian University, or an equivalent degree from an accredited foreign University. ii) NET shall be the compulsory requirement for those with Post-Graduate Degrees only. But, in respect of candidates who belong to J&K State and are not NET qualified, SET shall be the compulsory requirement. iii) The candidates without NET or SET having Ph.D Degree in the concerned subject in compliance of the UGC (Minimum Standards and Procedure for award of Ph.D Degree) Regulations, 2009, with amendments from time to time shall be exempted from the requirement of minimum eligibility conditions of NET/SET.

For the Post of Assistant Librarian in Allama Iqbal Library

Qualifications : i) A Master’s Degree in Library Science/Information Science/Documentation Science or an equivalent professional degree with at least 55% marks (or equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed) an a consistently good academic record with knowledge of computerization of library. ii) Qualifying in the national level test conducted for the purpose by the UGC or any other agency approved by the UGC.

For the Post of Assistant Professor, Directorate of Lifelong Learning

Qualifications : Good academic record with at least 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed) at the PG level in Adult Continuing & Extension Education/ Lifelong Learning/ Social Work/ Sociology/ Education/ Mass Communication/Electronic Media/ History from an Indian University, or an equivalent degree from an accredited foreign University

Qualifications : Good academic record with 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed) at the Maters’s Degree level in Social Science, from an Indian University or an equivalent degree from an accredited foreign University.

For the post of Assistant Professor Electrical Engineering/Mechanical Engineering, College of Engineering, Zakura Campus 

Qualifications : Good academic record with 1st Class (or an equivalent in a point scale wherever grading system is followed) at M.Tech/M.E. Degree and having B.Tech/B.E. in appropriate branch of Engineering (Engineering & Technology) from a recognized Indian University, or an equivalent degree from an accredited foreign University.

Desirable : a) Teaching, research, industrial and/ or professional experience in a reputed organisation b) Papers presented at Conferences and/or in referred journals.

Assistant Professor College of Nursing, South Campus

Qualifications : i) Good academic record with at least 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed) at the Master’s Degree level in Nursing from an Indian University, or from an accredited foreign University. ii) Three years teaching Experience.

Desirable : Ph.D in Nursing.
