ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS:
EDUCATIONAL:
- A Post Graduate Degree/Diploma from a
recognized university in Social work or Labour welfare or Industrial Relations or Personnel
Management or a Degree in Law from a recognized university.
EXPERIENCE
- Two
years’ experience in the field of Labour Welfare Work/ Industrial Relations/ Personnel
Management.
- The Qualifications are relaxable at the discretion of the Union Public Service Commission, for reasons to be recorded in writing, in the case of candidates otherwise well qualified.
Age:
- 35 years.
- For certain age concessions admissible to various categories please go through the instruction regarding Concessions & Relaxations.
DUTIES:
- Handling of Conciliation and Industrial Disputes
- Registering Officer under various Labour Laws like Contract Labour Act/Building & Other Construction Act/Shops & Establishment Regulation
- Conducting of inspections/Prosecutions under various Labour Laws. (iv) Authority under Payment of Wages Act.
- As Beneficiary Registration Officer under Building and Other Construction Workers
(RE&CS) Act 1996 has to conduct awareness camps and responsible for registration of
workers under Board.
- The Candidates recruited to the post will be governed/covered by the New Contributory Pension Scheme 01.01.2004.
Pay Scale:
- Level- 10 in the Pay Matrix as per 7th CPC.
