ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS:
- Master’s Degree in Statistics or Operation Research or Mathematics or Applied Statistics or Applied Mathematics or Mathematical Statistics from a recognized University or Institute OR Master’s Degree in Economics or Sociology or Psychology or Commerce with Statistics as one of the subjects at Graduate level or Post Graduate level from a recognized University or Institute.
DESIRABLE:
- Post Graduate Diploma in Computer Application awarded by any University or ‘A’ level Diploma under the Department of Electronics accredited computer course. (ii) Possessing one year post qualification experience of analysis of statistical data and their interpretation in Central Government or State Government or University or Recognised Training Institute or Public Sector Undertaking or Statutory or Autonomous Organization or Recruitment Board e.g. Banking and Railway Recruitment Board or Indian Institute of Technology or Indian Institute of Management or Central Board of Secondary Education or State Public Service Commission or State Board of Secondary or Technical Education or Staff Selection Commission or Union Public Service Commission or University Grant Commission or Council for Scientific and Industrial Research.
Age Limit
- The maximum age limit - 30 years
Pay Scale:
- Level07 in the Pay Matrix as per 7th CPC.

DUTIES:
- To assist senior officers in collection, compilation, tabulation, analysis and interpretation of statistical data.
- Managing and using of designed programmes & other softwares to prepare tables, charts and graphs which in turn are used for writing various statistical reports.
- Writing of various statistical reports.
- Conducting of various research studies as per the requirement from time to time.
- Supervision of “updation of data into designed programmes/computer systems” & codification of data/records.
- Logical checking and verification/updating of data/records.
- Supervision of safe keeping of data/records.
- Periodical reviewing of old data/records.
- General Administrative work of the section & punctuality.
- Any other work assigned by the senior officers from time to time.
PROBATION:
- The persons selected will be appointed on probation as per rule.
