ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS:
- Master’s Degree in Zoology from a recognized University.
Experience
- Three Years’ experience in research and technique in the field of Zoology from the Central or State or Union territory Government/ Autonomous Body or Statutory Organizations or Public Sector Undertakings or University or Recognized Research Institutes.
Age Limit
- 35 years
DUTIES:
- Care, preservation, maintenance, identification, cataloging of such collections of the Zoological Survey of India and its regional stations of which the candidate will be in charge.
- Care and maintenance of Public Galleries of the Group of Animals of which the candidate will be in charge.
- Conducting and guiding field surveys.
- Conducting and guiding research work in Taxonomy, Morphology & Systematic etc. of such group of animals, as are placed in charge of the candidate.
- Helping the Director in administrative matters.
- To look after the administrative matter of the regional stations.

PROBATION:
- The persons selected will be appointed on probation as per rule
OTHER INFORMATION/INSTRUCTIONS:
- All candidates whether in Government service or in Government owned industrial or other similar organizations or in private employment should submit their applications online directly to the Commission.
- The date for determining the eligibility of all candidates in every respect shall be the closing date for submitting the Online Recruitment Application on the website.
- Candidates must, if required, attend a personal interview at such place, as may be fixed by the Commission.
- The Summoning of candidates for interview convey no assurance whatsoever that they will be selected. Appointment orders to selected candidates will be issued by the Government.
- The Commission may grant higher initial pay to candidates adjudged meritorious in the interview.
- Canvassing in any form will disqualify a candidate.
