Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) invites applications for the position of Assistant Registrar General
1. Position: Assistant Registrar General
2. No of Posts: 1
3. Pay Scale: Level- 12 in the Pay Matrix as per 7th CPC plus NPA
4. Qualification: Master’s Degree in Geography from a recognized University
5. Experience:
Ten years of experience in map publication in map publication office under the Central Government or State Governments or Union Territories or Universities or recognized Research Institutions or Public Sector Undertakings or Statutory or Autonomous Organizations including two years’ experience in applied cartography.
6. Desirable: (i) Doctorate Degree in Geography from a recognized University; (ii) Research publications on Cartography or Geographical Information System; (iii) Certificate course in Statistical methods from a recognized University or Institute.
7. HQ: Office of Registrar General, India, New Delhi; but liable to serve anywhere in India.
