ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS:
- Master’s Degree (Botany) with 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed) in the concerned/ relevant/allied subject from a recognized University/ Institute.
- Must have cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) (Life Science) conducted by the UGC or the CSIR or a similar test accredited by the UGC like SLET/SET (State level eligibility test)

- 35 years
DUTIES:
- To adhere to a responsible pattern of conduct and demeanour expected to them by the community.
- To manage their private affairs in a manner consistent with the dignity of the profession.
- To seek to make professional growth continuous through study and research.
- To express free and frank opinion by participation of professional meeting, seminars, conferences etc towards the contribution of knowledge.
- To maintain active membership of professional organizations and strive to improve education and profession through them.
- To perform their duties in the form of teaching, tutorials, practicals, seminars and research work, conscientiously and with dedication.
- To discourage and not indulge in plagiarism and other ethical behavior in teaching and research.
- To abide by the Act, Status and Ordinance of the University and to respect its ideals, vision, mission, cultural practices and tradition.
- To co-operate and assist in carrying out the functions relating to the educational responsibilities of the College and the University, Such as assisting in appraising applications for admission, advising and counselling students as well as assisting the conduct of University and College Examinations, including supervision, invigilation and evaluation and
- To participate in extension, co-curricular and extra-curricular activities, including the community service.

PROBATION:
- The persons selected will be appointed on probation as per rule.
OTHER INFORMATION/INSTRUCTIONS:
- All candidates whether in Government service or in Government owned industrial or other similar organizations or in private employment should submit their applications online directly to the Commission.
- The date for determining the eligibility of all candidates in every respect shall be the closing date for submitting the Online Recruitment Application on the website.
- Candidates must, if required, attend a personal interview at such place, as may be fixed by the Commission.
- The Summoning of candidates for interview convey no assurance whatsoever that they will be selected. Appointment orders to selected candidates will be issued by the Government.
- The Commission may grant higher initial pay to candidates adjudged meritorious in the interview.
- Canvassing in any form will disqualify a candidate.
