Lady Medical Officers recruitment in Union Public Service Commission (UPSC)

Qualification: A recognized Medical Qualification included in the First or Second Schedule or Part II of the Third Schedule (other than Licentiate Qualifications) to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956. Holders of the Educational Qualifications included in the Part II of Third Schedule should also fulfill the conditions stipulated in the subsection (3) of section 13 of the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956. (ii) Completion of compulsory rotating internship. Desirable: Three years Experience in Family Planning and educational method of including training in technique of medical termination of pregnancy and tubectomy operations.

About Company

The Royal Commission on the Superior Civil Services in India under the Chairmanship of Lord Lee, which submitted its Report in 1924, recommended the setting up of the Public Service Commission. This led to the establishment of the first Public Service Commission on 1 October 1926 under the Chairmanship of Sir Ross Barker.
