JOB DESCRIPTION
- At Playpower Labs, Usability and QA Engineers help everyone focus on the user and the quality of the product.
- You’ll be a part of a small team of 2-3 members responsible for all the market research, coming up with brilliant insights and ensuring the quality of our products.
- In this role, you will build understanding and empathy around user needs, stated and unstated, for your entire product team including designers, product managers, and engineers.
- Your work will help us create useful, usable, and delightful new products and features for people as well as continually innovating on our existing products.
- You’ll inspire change at all stages of product development by delivering compelling, written, in-person and visual presentations on your findings.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Plan and implement the overall user and market research strategy and methods.
- Record all usability goals, suggestions and guidelines at suitable intervals in project lifecycle.
- Communicate research insights to designers, product managers, and engineers to inform business and product decisions.
- Review requirements, specifications and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback.
- Create detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test plans and test cases.
- Identify deficient products and work with other developers to find and fix the cause.
