Project Title : “Technology standardization for lab to land of Asiatic Lily for development of tribal community in Terai - Dooars region of North Bengal under phase – I”
Qualification : M. Sc (Agriculture) with specialization in Horticulture / M. Sc. (Horticulture) in any discipline from a recognized University / Institution. The candidate must have a four year’s B. Sc. (Ag.)/ B. Sc. (Hort.) degree Desirable: Candidate with knowledge / Experience in Floriculture / Asiatic Lily is highly desirable

Fellowship : Rs. 14000/- per month + Rs. 2100/- per month as HRA + Rs. 300/- per month as Medical Allowance, i,e. a total of Rs. 16400/- per month
Age Limit : Age should be below 35 years as on 30.06.2016

The northern part of West Bengal is endowed with diverse natural resources like forest, economic plant resources, agro-ecosystem, etc, together with extremely responsive rural communities. The economy of this part of West Bengal is predominantly agrarian in nature and agriculture is characterised by low productivity and subsistence farming with limited number of crops due to inherent soil-climatic and agro-ecological conditions. Thus generations of improved technologies befitting to the agro-climatic and socio-economic characteristics of this region is an important issue.
