Job Description
UX Designer – India, Hyderabad
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with product managers and UI developers to define and implement innovative solutions for the product requirements.
- Conduct user research and evaluate user feedback
- Execute visual design stages from concept to final hand-off to engineering
- Conceptualize original ideas that bring simplicity and user friendliness to complex design roadblocks.
- Create wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows and site maps to effectively communicate interaction and design ideas. Create UI mockups and interactions.
- Study user interactions and determine points of friction to be eliminated through design revisions.
- Establish and promote design guidelines, best practices and standards
Requirements:
- Years of Exp: 1-3 Years
- A portfolio or samples of work demonstrating relevant experience (Dribbble/Behance Profile)
- Portfolio should contain web based product designs rather than art work/graphic design.
- People who have worked in B2B companies. (preferred)
- Experienced as user experience designer, interaction designer, information architect or similar UX- related role.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum development process.
- Proven experience using tools such as Sketch (mandatory), Illustrator, Principle, InVision etc. Ability to prototype in HTML, JavaScript, & CSS is a plus.
- A bachelor's degree in interaction design, human-computer interaction (HCI), or related UX degree is ideal but not mandatory.
- Hands-on in designing digital products (web, mobile and other platforms)
- An understanding and appreciation of the design process.
- An inclination in understanding user needs by conducting usability studies, performing user research etc.
- Must haves - A sense of good aesthetics, a knack for problem solving, curiosity and empathy for users.
- Experience in designing for SaaS products is a plus.
