Introduction
A UX/UI Designer Intern works closely with the design and development teams to create user-friendly, visually appealing, and intuitive digital experiences for web and mobile applications. The role focuses on user research, wireframing, prototyping, and interface designing while ensuring seamless usability and accessibility.
This internship is perfect for students, fresh graduates, or aspiring designers looking to gain hands-on experience in user experience (UX) and user interface (UI) design. You’ll work on real-world projects, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and learn industry-standard tools and design practices.
Key Responsibilities
1. User Research & Analysis

Conduct user research to understand target audiences and user behaviors.

Assist in creating user personas, customer journey maps, and empathy maps.

Analyze competitor products and suggest improvements based on insights.

Collect user feedback through surveys, interviews, and usability testing.
2. UX Design & Wireframing

Assist in designing low-fidelity wireframes and interactive prototypes.

Work on user flows to ensure smooth navigation and functionality.

Collaborate with developers to translate user requirements into design solutions.

Maintain consistency in design patterns across all digital platforms.
3. UI Design & Visual Elements

Design high-quality UI components such as buttons, icons, and layouts.

Create responsive designs optimized for desktop, tablet, and mobile.

Work on color schemes, typography, and design guidelines.

Prepare design mockups and present ideas to the product team.
4. Collaboration with Development & Product Teams

Work closely with front-end developers to ensure design accuracy during implementation.

Assist product managers in designing user-centric features.

Take feedback from senior designers and stakeholders to improve designs.

Document design specifications and ensure seamless handovers.
5. Usability Testing & Feedback

Conduct A/B testing and evaluate user interactions.

Identify UX issues and propose solutions based on testing results.

Improve existing interfaces for better usability and engagement.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Educational Qualifications
-
Bachelor’s degree in Design, Computer Science, Multimedia, Fine Arts, or related fields.

Students pursuing UI/UX design courses are encouraged to apply.
Technical Skills
-
Knowledge of design tools like Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch, InVision, or Canva.

Familiarity with prototyping tools and wireframing techniques.

Understanding of HTML, CSS, and basic front-end frameworks (preferred, not mandatory).

Knowledge of design systems, typography, and color theory.
Soft Skills
