Job Summary:
We are looking for a talented and detail-oriented UX/UI Designer to join our growing product and technology team. The ideal candidate is passionate about crafting intuitive, user-friendly digital experiences and has a strong eye for aesthetics and interaction design. You’ll be responsible for designing user interfaces, enhancing usability, and shaping the overall user experience of our digital products.
As a UX/UI Designer, you will collaborate closely with product managers, developers, marketing teams, and stakeholders to translate business goals and user needs into elegant and effective design solutions. You should be able to think both conceptually and practically and be excited to take ownership of the end-to-end design process.
Key Responsibilities:
1. User Research & Analysis
Conduct user research via surveys, interviews, usability testing, or analytics tools.
Translate findings into actionable insights and user-centered design decisions.
Create user personas, user journey maps, and empathy maps to understand and document user behavior.
2. UX Design & Wireframing
Design wireframes, process flows, and low-fidelity prototypes that reflect user needs and product goals.
Define information architecture and user navigation strategies.
Validate concepts through rapid prototyping and testing with real or test users.
3. UI Design & Visual Aesthetics
Develop high-fidelity mockups, UI components, and visual interfaces using tools like Figma, Adobe XD, or Sketch.
Ensure all screens are visually consistent, responsive, and brand-aligned.
Design UI assets such as icons, illustrations, and style guides.
4. Prototyping & Interaction Design
Build interactive prototypes to demonstrate user flows and micro-interactions.
Define animations, transitions, and feedback states to improve usability.
Collaborate with developers to ensure design specs are accurately implemented.
5. Collaboration & Communication
Work with product managers to define project scope and priorities.
Partner with developers to ensure smooth handoff of design files and design systems.
Present design ideas, user flows, and concepts to internal teams and stakeholders with confidence and clarity.
6. Continuous Improvement
Conduct post-launch usability testing and gather user feedback to inform future iterations.
Stay up to date with the latest UX/UI trends, best practices, and tools.
Actively participate in design reviews, critiques, and brainstorming sessions.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Design, HCI, Fine Arts, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
Strong proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch, or similar.
Solid understanding of UX principles, human-centered design, accessibility, and responsive design.
Familiarity with HTML/CSS basics and handoff tools like Zeplin, Avocode, or Figma Inspect.
Good knowledge of design systems, UI pattern libraries, and component-driven design.
Strong communication and collaboration skills; ability to explain design thinking to non-designers.
A portfolio of completed design projects demonstrating UX/UI capabilities and design process.
