Key Responsibilities:
1. Delivery Operations:

Load, transport, and deliver goods to customers or business partners on assigned routes.

Review orders before and after delivery to ensure accuracy and completeness.

Unload goods and obtain necessary signatures or delivery confirmations.

Ensure timely delivery and maintain communication with dispatch or supervisor in case of delays or route changes.
2. Vehicle Maintenance and Inspection:

Perform daily inspection of the delivery van to ensure it is in good working condition.

Report any mechanical issues or damage to the supervisor immediately.

Keep the vehicle clean, fueled, and well-maintained at all times.

Follow all company safety protocols while driving and loading/unloading goods.
3. Route Planning:

Plan and follow efficient routes using GPS, maps, or delivery scheduling tools.

Avoid traffic delays and navigate to destinations in the most time- and fuel-efficient manner.

Adjust routes based on weather conditions, road closures, or customer requests.
4. Documentation and Reporting:

Maintain delivery logs, mileage reports, fuel usage, and delivery confirmations.

Record any discrepancies, delivery issues, or customer feedback and report them to the manager.

Ensure all documentation related to deliveries is accurately completed and submitted.
5. Customer Service:

Interact professionally and courteously with customers during deliveries.

Answer customer questions and provide basic information when required.

Handle customer complaints or delivery issues promptly and report them to the appropriate department.
6. Compliance and Safety:

Comply with traffic laws, safety regulations, and company driving policies.

Use proper lifting techniques and safety equipment when handling heavy packages.

Ensure that all goods are secured properly in the vehicle to prevent damage during transport.
