Eligibility
For Maxillofacial Surgery :- The candidate should be MDS (recognized by DCI) failing which BDS with two years experience in a government organization. Other conditions are same as in the case of other departments.
For Endocrinology:- Desired qualification is MD/DNB in Medicine or Paediatrics
For Haemotology :- The candidate should possess MD or equivalent in Medicine or Paediatrics. Candidate with M.D. or equivalent in Pathology will not be eligible.
Pay Scale : PB-3 Rs. 15600-39100/- + G.P. Rs. 6600 + other allowances as admissible to Govt. of India employee.
Age Limit : Maximum 33 years (Relaxation will be provided as per Govt. of India Rules) for SC,ST, OBC & PWD.
Application Fee : Demand Draft of Rs. 500/- for general candidates and Rs. 250/- for OBC candidates to be paid as demand draft in favour of Medical Superintendent, Safdarjang Hospital & VMMC, New Delhi to be attached with the application. No Demand Draft required for SC/ST/PWD candidates.
Mode of Selection : The selection will be made through written exam and no interview shall be conducted.

About Company
Safdarjung Hospital started as an American Army Base Hospital during the II World war. In 1947 it was made annexe to Irwin Hospital (Presently LNJP Hospital). It was taken over by the Central Government in 1954 and named as Safdarjung Hospital. Until the inception of All India Institute of Medical Science in 1956, Safdarjung Hospital was the only tertiary care hospital in South Delhi. Based on the needs and developments in medical care the hospital has been regularly upgrading its facilities from diagnostic and therapeutic angles in all the specialties.
