Job Description
We are seeking a VB .NET developer responsible for building VB .NET applications who are good at both front-end & back-end technologies. We are looking for MVC based design patterns to be implemented in our clients legacy application that is built on VB .Net and Webforms. Your primary responsibility will be to design and develop these layers of the applications, and to coordinate with the rest of the team working on different layers of the infrastructure. A commitment to collaborative problem solving, sophisticated design, and quality product is essential.
Responsibilities
* Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable code
* Integrate data storage solutions and reports (SQL, Crystal Reports, RDLC reports)
* Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications
* Help maintain code quality, organization, and automation
Skills
* Strong knowledge of .NET web framework with MVC and Webforms
* Proficient in VB.NET, with a good knowledge of their ecosystems
* Strong understanding of C# & object-oriented programming
* Skill for writing html, css & Javascript code
* Familiarity with Microsoft SQL Server
* Knowledge and Understanding of Crystal reports and RDLC
* Knack for writing clean, readable, and easily maintainable code
* Understanding of fundamental design principles for building a scalable application
* Knowledge of creating database schemas that represent and support business processes
* Proficient understanding of code versioning tools such as Git and TFS
