Required Technical and Professional Expertise
- Minimum 6 + years of experience in Backup products Veritas NetBackup, EMC Networker, VEEAM and ARCSERVE support for infrastructure that is spread across multiple locations
- Proven debugging and analytical skills with solid grasp of system development methodologies, techniques and tool
- Proficient in implementation, configuration and update of Netbackup master, media server, Networker server and storage node
- Experience in configuring and managing Veritas appliances (5240), Data domains (DD9500, DD3300, DD6300, DD890 and DD670), Tape libraries Oracle SL3000 and IBM TS3500
- Experience in decommissioning of Media server, appliance, Data Domain and Tape library and Knowledge on VTL’s, Backup Tools OPSCENTER, Data Protection Advisor and VEEAM ONE
- Experience in VMware backup concept and implementation and Restore, Basic Knowledge on VMWARE environment along with NDMP backups, NetBackup version 7.7.X, 8 and 8.1.X, EMC Networker 9.1, 9.2.1 and 18.X
Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
- Knowledge on Symantec System Recovery is added advantage
- Working knowledge on Backup and Replications, Veritas Netbackup, EMC Networker, VEEAM, ARCSERVE and Symantec System Recovery is added advantage
- Prior experience in File System Backup, BMR, NDMP Backup, RMAN Backup, SAP MSSQL Backup and Exchange, Data Domains is desirable

- Ambitious individual who can work under their own direction towards agreed targets/goals and with creative approach to work
- Intuitive individual with an ability to manage change and proven time management

- Up-to-date technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing publications
