As a Video Editor, you will be responsible for transforming raw footage into engaging, high-quality videos tailored for the YouTube platform. The ideal candidate is proficient in industry-standard editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve, and possesses a strong understanding of storytelling, pacing, visual aesthetics, and audience engagement.
This is a remote position, offering flexible working hours. You must be highly organized, self-motivated, and capable of managing multiple projects with tight deadlines. A strong portfolio showcasing your editing skills, especially for YouTube or social video content, is essential.
Key Responsibilities
1. Video Editing and Post-Production:

Edit raw footage into polished, engaging YouTube videos using Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or similar tools.

Add sound effects, music, graphics, motion elements, text overlays, transitions, and color corrections to enhance visual quality.

Ensure the final output is optimized for YouTube in terms of resolution, format, file size, and metadata (titles, thumbnails, etc.).

Collaborate with scriptwriters, on-screen talent, and producers to bring a creative vision to life.
2. Storytelling and Content Structuring:

Craft compelling video narratives that keep viewers engaged from start to finish.

Incorporate hooks, call-to-actions, and visual cues aligned with the brand and YouTube best practices.
3. YouTube Strategy and Trend Awareness:

Suggest content improvements and new editing styles based on analytics and trends.
4. Project Management and Collaboration:
