Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
1. Editing and Post-Production:

Review raw footage and select the best sequences based on story flow, quality, and creative direction.

Cut, trim, and arrange footage to create a compelling final product.

Apply transitions, visual effects, and motion graphics to enhance storytelling.

Add titles, captions, intros/outros, and credits as required by the project.
2. Sound and Music Integration:

Sync audio with video footage accurately.

Remove background noise, balance audio levels, and add sound effects where appropriate.

Source and integrate royalty-free or licensed music tracks that enhance the tone and pacing of the video.

Collaborate with sound designers or voiceover artists if necessary.
3. Color Grading and Correction:

Perform basic and advanced color correction to ensure footage consistency.

Apply color grading techniques to create mood, enhance contrast, and improve overall video aesthetics.

Adjust exposure, saturation, white balance, and other color settings.
4. Collaboration and Communication:

Work closely with directors, producers, marketing teams, and clients to understand the project vision and objectives.

Accept and incorporate feedback from creative teams during the revision process.

Manage revisions efficiently, keeping organized backups of previous edits.
5. File Management and Organization:

Organize video files, project assets, and timelines using a structured folder system.

Export videos in multiple formats suitable for web, broadcast, or social media platforms.

Maintain backups of raw and edited footage, graphics, and project files for future use.
6. Content Optimization and Branding:

Edit content to meet specific platform requirements (e.g., YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn).

Ensure videos are optimized for size, resolution, and playback speed.

Incorporate brand logos, colors, fonts, and messaging to ensure consistency with the company’s visual identity.
