Job Description
Job Summary:
We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Video Editor to join our post-production team. The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with the Senior Video Editor to produce high-quality video content for a variety of platforms, including digital marketing, social media, corporate videos, and more.
The role requires proficiency in Adobe video editing tools, familiarity with basic animation, and the ability to work efficiently within a team on assigned projects with fixed deliverables.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Video Editing & Post-Production

Edit raw footage and assemble it into polished videos according to project briefs and timelines.

Work under the guidance of the Senior Video Editor to ensure consistent style, tone, and quality.

Incorporate music, dialogue, graphics, and effects seamlessly.

Adjust color, sound, and transitions to enhance the viewer experience.
2. Basic Animation & Motion Graphics

Create and integrate simple animations, lower-thirds, titles, and visual effects using Adobe After Effects or Premiere Pro.

Support the team with graphic overlays and motion elements as required by the project.
3. Collaboration & Workflow

Participate in regular team meetings to discuss project status, creative direction, and deadlines.

Communicate effectively with creative leads, designers, and content creators to ensure alignment.

Manage multiple editing tasks simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
4. File Management & Organization

Organize project files, assets, and archives systematically for easy access and future use.

Maintain version control and backup important files regularly.
5. Quality Assurance

Review and proof final videos to ensure error-free output before delivery.

Incorporate feedback from senior editors and clients promptly and accurately.
Required Skills & Qualifications:

Proven experience (1–2 years) in video editing or relevant internships/projects.

Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite, especially Adobe Premiere Pro and Adobe After Effects.

Basic skills in animation and motion graphics.

Understanding of video formats, codecs, and delivery standards.

Ability to follow detailed instructions and creative briefs.

Strong attention to detail and a keen eye for aesthetics.

Good communication and teamwork skills.
