We are looking to hire a talented and experienced Video Editor to join our Startup. As a lead video editor, you will be responsible for assembling video footage and applying artistic editing techniques and creating finished, broadcast-worthy projects that accurately reflect the vision of the company.

As video has become the best way for communicating a company's message on online platforms, your position will play an important role in our Team

Ultimately, as a Video Editor, you should be able to bring sight and sound together in order to tell a cohesive story

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Edit and create creative motion graphics for video deliverables (Social Media videos).

• Consistent, high-quality video edits for both short and long-form content.

• In-depth understanding of social platforms.

• Continuously discover and implement new editing technologies and industry’s best practices to maximize efficiency.

• Inputting sound to enhance footage, which may include selecting music, writing voice-overs, adding graphics, special effects

• Follow the company's brand guidelines

• Develop an overall video brand messaging strategy

REQUIREMENTS

• Proven work experience as a Video Editor

• Solid experience with digital technology and editing software packages (e.g, Lightworks, Premiere, After Effects and Final Cut)

• Demonstrable video editing ability with a strong portfolio

• Ability to work In a Startup environment

• Should be passionate about video editing

• Strong verbal and written communication skills, as well as interpersonal and presentation skill

• Creative mind and storytelling skills

• a high level of self-motivation, commitment and dedication
