Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
1. Video Editing and Post-Production

Edit raw footage into coherent, compelling, and professional-quality videos.

Trim, rearrange, or merge clips to ensure narrative clarity, logical sequence, and creative flow.

Add music, voice-overs, dialogues, titles, transitions, effects, sound effects, and animations where appropriate.

Color correct and color grade footage to achieve visual consistency and aesthetic quality.

Sync video with audio tracks (dialogues, background music, ambient sound).
2. Creative Collaboration

Work closely with content creators, directors, marketing teams, graphic designers, and clients to understand the vision and style requirements for each project.

Brainstorm creative concepts, visual themes, and storytelling formats.

Translate creative briefs into visual content that meets business goals and brand standards.
3. Motion Graphics and Visual Effects (Optional)

Design and integrate basic motion graphics, kinetic typography, lower thirds, intros, and outros.

Apply special effects and visual enhancements to increase production value.

Collaborate with animation or VFX teams for complex post-production needs.
4. Platform-Specific Adaptation

Adapt content for different formats, screen ratios, and platforms (e.g., 16:9 for YouTube, 9:16 for Reels/Shorts/TikTok, square for Instagram).

Optimize video quality and size for web streaming and mobile viewing.

Add subtitles or closed captions as required.
5. File Management and Delivery

Organize and archive raw footage, project files, and final outputs using a clear folder structure and version control.

Deliver videos in appropriate formats and specifications (MP4, MOV, etc.) according to platform or client needs.

Ensure backups of projects are regularly taken and stored securely.
6. Quality Control

Review final videos to ensure there are no errors or glitches before delivery.

Maintain high standards of video production and consistency with brand aesthetics.

Conduct revisions based on feedback promptly and professionally.
7. Project and Deadline Management

Manage multiple editing projects simultaneously with a strong sense of priority and time management.

Adhere to production schedules and deliver high-quality videos within deadlines.

Track changes, approvals, and project status with the team or client.
