Key Responsibilities:
1. Editing and Post-Production:

Edit raw video footage into high-quality final outputs for various platforms (YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, websites, etc.).

Trim footage segments, insert transitions, music, subtitles, and graphics.
-
Color correct, balance audio levels, and apply visual effects as required.
-
Ensure continuity and narrative flow in edited content.
2. Content Creation Collaboration:
-
Work closely with the creative, marketing, and content teams to understand project goals and target audience.
-
Edit videos based on scripts, briefs, or creative direction provided.
-
Brainstorm and contribute fresh ideas for content style, format, and presentation.
-
Suggest new concepts, editing styles, or formats to enhance audience engagement.
3. Platform-Specific Optimization:
-
Export video files in platform-optimized formats and resolutions (16:9, 1:1, 9:16).
-
Create variations of the same video (e.g., teaser cuts, story clips, and shorts) for multiple channels.
-
Understand best practices for video optimization on YouTube, Instagram Reels, TikTok, etc.
4. Asset and File Management:
-
Maintain organized project files, backups, and version control of edits.
-
Store and categorize b-roll, audio, templates, overlays, and stock footage for reuse.
-
Maintain a repository of completed projects with all related assets.
5. Audio Editing and Integration:
-
Sync background music, sound effects, and voiceovers with visuals.
-
Improve voice clarity and reduce background noise using audio enhancement tools.
-
Select music tracks that match the tone, mood, and branding guidelines.
