Position Overview:
We are looking for a skilled Video Editor to join our creative team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of video editing software and techniques and will be responsible for producing high-quality video content for various platforms, including social media, websites, and advertisements. You will work closely with the creative team to transform raw footage into visually compelling and engaging content that aligns with the brand’s message.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Video Editing & Production:

Edit and assemble raw footage into polished video content that meets the project’s goals.

Apply appropriate editing techniques, transitions, and effects to enhance visual storytelling.

Maintain a high standard of video quality, ensuring that all work is aligned with the desired brand image.

Integrate sound, music, voiceovers, graphics, and special effects to create visually appealing content.
2. Collaboration with Creative Team:

Work closely with directors, producers, and other team members to understand the project’s objectives, vision, and requirements.

Assist in brainstorming ideas for video content and provide input during the creative process.

Follow feedback from the team or clients and make necessary revisions to the videos.
3. Content Formatting & Optimization:

Ensure videos are formatted and optimized for different platforms, including social media (Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, etc.), websites, and other media outlets.

Resize and adjust content to meet platform-specific requirements, such as aspect ratios and resolution.
4. Post-Production Tasks:

Review raw footage, select key scenes, and assemble the video in a logical sequence.

Add titles, captions, and other graphic elements to enhance the content and make it more accessible.

Perform color correction, audio mixing, and sound editing to ensure high-quality output.
5. Content Review & Quality Control:

Ensure all content meets company standards and is consistent with the brand’s voice, messaging, and overall aesthetic.

Test videos across multiple platforms to check for technical errors or quality issues before final delivery.

Maintain a library of assets, footage, and completed projects for future use or reference.
6. Video Projects Management:

Manage multiple video projects simultaneously, ensuring deadlines are met and the content is delivered on time.

Organize and keep track of all video files, assets, and materials for each project.
7. Continuous Learning & Innovation:

Stay updated with the latest video editing trends, software updates, and techniques to keep content fresh and engaging.

Explore new tools, techniques, and trends in video editing and post-production to improve overall video quality.
