About the internship
Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:
1. Work on cutting and editing film footage until it meets clients' specifications
2. Sort, rearrange, and splice scenes that have already been shot
3. Assist the cinematographer and determine if scenes need to be reshot and insert music, sound, or optical effects
4. Watch scenes and determine which will end up on the timeline
5. Work with and manipulate raw camera footage, dialogue, sound effects, graphics, and special effects
6. Determine which camera angles to use
7. Insert music, sound, or optical effects
8. Use templates and special effects according to the requirements of the client
9. Organize the scenes and transitions that make up a film
10. Research similar work
11. Work on feature films, television programs, music videos, corporate training videos, or advertisements
12. Reorder and tweak the content to ensure the logical sequencing and smooth running of the film/video
13. Input uncut rushes and sound
14. Determine exact cutting for final stages
15. Use plug-ins as and when required
16. Work with the team to get the final output
17. Work with Final Cut Pro X (10.14.6 or later) and Adobe Premiere Pro
