Job Description
Key Responsibilities
1. Video Production & Shooting

Capture high-quality videos for our YouTube channel, including interviews, explainers, panel discussions, and lifestyle segments.

Set up and operate professional cameras, lighting, and audio equipment for optimal video output.

Plan video shoots, including location scouting, framing, and managing on-site requirements.

Stay updated with industry trends and techniques to create visually appealing and dynamic content.
2. Video Editing & Post-Production

Edit raw footage into engaging, polished videos using professional editing tools like Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve.

Add motion graphics, transitions, captions, and sound effects to enhance storytelling.

Ensure proper color grading, sound balancing, and quality control before final delivery.

Create short-form videos, reels, and teasers for social media promotions.
3. Social Media Collaboration

Work closely with the social media manager to create platform-optimized video content.

Repurpose long-form YouTube videos into short-form content for Instagram, Twitter (X), LinkedIn, and Facebook.

Assist in brainstorming ideas for video marketing campaigns and audience engagement.

Monitor content performance and suggest creative strategies to improve reach and engagement.
4. Content Research & Concept Development

Collaborate with the content team to understand topics related to geopolitics, finance, business, economics, and lifestyle.

Help develop storyboards, scripts, and shot lists to ensure videos align with the brand’s objectives.

Stay updated with global trends and news to create relevant and timely video content.
Required Skills & Competencies
Technical Skills
-
Expertise in operating professional video cameras, DSLRs, and audio gear.

Proficiency in video editing software (Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve).

Knowledge of color correction, motion graphics, and sound design.

Understanding of lighting techniques and cinematography principles.
Core Competencies

Strong storytelling and creative thinking abilities.

Ability to multitask and work on multiple projects simultaneously.

Keen eye for detail, framing, and aesthetics.
