Hiring VMC Operator and Programmer!!!
Duties and Requirements:
Operate VMC Machines To Perform Boring And Milling Tasks.
Key Responsibilities:

Machine Operation:
-
Set up and operate CNC Vertical Machining Centers (VMC) according to job specifications and work orders.
-
Select appropriate tools, fixtures, and work-holding devices.
-
Load raw materials and ensure correct alignment on the machine table or fixture.
-
Monitor machining operations and make adjustments as needed to ensure product accuracy.

CNC Programming:
-
Write, modify, and troubleshoot CNC programs using G-code or CAM software such as Mastercam, Fusion 360, or similar.
-
Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and 2D/3D CAD models to develop machining strategies.
-
Optimize programs for efficient cycle times and tool life while ensuring part quality.

Setup and Calibration:
-
Calibrate tools, machines, and measuring instruments prior to starting a job.
-
Set work offsets, tool lengths, and zero points accurately.
-
Perform dry runs to check for program correctness before full-scale machining.
-

Quality Control:
-
Inspect finished components using precision measuring instruments such as micrometers, vernier calipers, height gauges, and dial indicators.
-
Ensure parts meet dimensional tolerances and surface finish requirements.
-
Record inspection results and follow quality assurance procedures.

Maintenance & Troubleshooting:
-
Perform routine maintenance on machines, including lubrication, coolant level checks, and tool replacement.
-
Identify and report machine issues, tool wear, or malfunctions to the maintenance team.

Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring workplace safety at all times.

Documentation & Reporting:
-
Maintain accurate records of job setup sheets, machining parameters, and inspection reports.
-
Update tool usage logs and assist in tool inventory management.
-
Communicate with supervisors, engineers, and fellow team members regarding job status and improvements.

Qualifications and Skills:
-
ITI, Diploma, or equivalent qualification in Mechanical/Production Engineering or Tool & Die Making.

1–2 years of experience operating and programming VMC machines in a manufacturing environment.
-
Strong knowledge of CNC G-code and/or CAM programming software.
-
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing).
-
Experience with Fanuc, Siemens, or Mitsubishi CNC controls is preferred.
-
Proficiency in using measuring tools and quality inspection methods.
-
Good problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and mechanical aptitude.

Ability to work independently as well as in a team.
