Job Description
• Operate Makino D200Z 5-Axis VMC and other CNC/VMC machines for mould components (cores, cavities, inserts).
• Interpret complex mould drawings and 3D CAD/CAM programs.
• Perform machine setup, fixture design, tool selection, and offset adjustments for 5-axis machining.
• Ensure precision machining with tight tolerances and superior surface finish.
• Use advanced measuring instruments (CMM, Vernier, Micrometer, Dial Gauge, Height Gauge) for dimensional verification.
• Collaborate with EDM, grinding, and assembly teams for tool completion.
• Maintain machine health and perform preventive maintenance.
• Follow safety, 5S, and lean manufacturing practices in the toolroom.
