Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
1. Customer Interaction:

Answer inbound calls from customers and assist them with inquiries, requests, complaints, or support issues.

Make outbound calls to customers for feedback, product promotions, payment reminders, or service updates (if part of an outbound process).

Understand customer needs clearly and provide the appropriate solution or information.
2. Issue Resolution and Support:
-
Handle customer complaints or problems professionally and provide effective resolutions within the first call whenever possible.

Escalate unresolved issues to the appropriate department or supervisor while ensuring follow-up.

Record details of customer interactions, including inquiries, complaints, comments, and actions taken.
3. Product and Service Knowledge:

Gain in-depth knowledge about the company’s products or services to answer customer questions accurately.

Update customers with information about new services, offers, discounts, or policy changes.

Guide customers through technical procedures or service processes when necessary.
4. Communication and Soft Skills:
-
Maintain a polite, friendly, and professional tone throughout the conversation.
-
Handle difficult or irate customers with patience and empathy.

Ensure clarity and confidence in speech, and avoid using slang or inappropriate language.
5. Call Documentation and Reporting:
-
Enter customer information and update call records in CRM or call management systems accurately.

Maintain logs of calls, complaints, feedback, and follow-ups as per company guidelines.

Provide daily, weekly, or monthly reports on call volume, resolution rate, and customer feedback to the team lead or manager.
6. Performance and Quality:
-
Achieve assigned daily/weekly/monthly call targets and KPIs such as Average Handling Time (AHT), First Call Resolution (FCR), Customer Satisfaction (CSAT), etc.

Participate in team meetings, training sessions, and quality reviews to improve performance.

Follow call scripts and quality standards set by the organization or client.
