Job Description
Summer Training Programme conducts Wadia Institute of Himalayan Geology (WIHG)
Areas : Petrology and Geochemistry, Structure and Tectonics, Sedimentology, Geomorphology, Glaciology, Magnetostratigraphy, Biostratigraphy, Quaternary Geology, Economic Geology, Environment Geology, Seismology and Geophysics.
Summer Training will be provided to post graduate students of geology/geophysics/earth system sciences and other allied fields, and fourth and fifth year students of the integrated Bachelor and Master degree course of these subjects. The summer training is also open to undergraduate students of engineering disciplines.
Duration : Summer training will be carried out during May – July. The duration of Dissertation work shall range from two to three months.
Selection Process : Selection will be based on Merit.
