Key Responsibilities

Order Taking & Coordination

Accurately take food and drink orders and enter them into the POS (Point of Sale) system.

Communicate customer requests, dietary restrictions, and special instructions clearly to kitchen staff and bartenders.

Confirm orders before serving to avoid errors.

Serving Food & Beverages

Deliver dishes and drinks promptly, ensuring correct presentation.

Serve meals in the correct order (starters, main course, desserts).

Refill water glasses and beverages as required.

Clear used plates, cutlery, and glasses efficiently.

Upselling & Recommendations
-
Suggest menu items, drinks, or desserts to enhance customer orders.

Inform guests about special promotions, chef’s recommendations, or seasonal dishes.

Encourage upselling of premium items to increase revenue.

Maintaining Cleanliness & Safety Standards

Keep tables, chairs, and dining areas clean and presentable.

Ensure cutlery, crockery, and glassware are polished and hygienic.

Follow food safety and hygiene regulations strictly.

Report any spills, hazards, or broken equipment immediately.

Billing & Payment Handling

Prepare accurate bills and present them to customers.

Process payments by cash, card, or digital methods.

Provide receipts and return correct change if required.
