The Essence of Cool Cream Milano is the story behind the latest Cafe in town.
Located at Egmore, Adyar, Taramani, Gopalapuram, Anna Nagar and Bangalore, Writer’s Cafe exists only for a cause. An establishment which provides a platform for The Spastic Society of Tamil Nadu, an organisation CCMPL works with closely by providing vocational training for its students in the art of pastry making, ice cream crafting and popcorn production. The students are then provided with full-time opportunities with CCMPL and its affiliate companies, the special women of PCVC (International Foundation for Prevention of Crime and Victim Care) and SANKALP – a school that nurtures children with special learning difficulties (SLD) and autism spectrum disorders (ASD) as well as facilitating work skill acquisitions. Profits go to supporting their cause and improvement towards their self-reliance.
We also currently employ fire burnt and domestically abused victims who have been training with us, honing their culinary skills in baking and confectionery.
