About the Opportunity: Insurance Operations 

The team provides standardized and streamlined back-office support to world's leading insurers, reinsurers, MGAs and insurance brokers. We align our goals to the client's goals, adding value through domain expertise and flexibility.

We support our clients in various processes like:

• Underwriting Support
• Accounting and Collections
• Policy Servicing
• Claims Management
• Marketing Analytics

The team boasts of insurance and reinsurance experts in property and casualty, professional lines, healthcare, surety, homeowners, and various personal lines servicing clients across diverse geographies such as the U.S., Canada, Singapore, Hong Kong, Australia and New Zealand.

What you'll be doing:

• Understand end-to-end insurance business
• Analyze and input data into systems / databases
• Process requests basis various rules (both subjective and objective judgement involved)
• Issue policies / invoices on behalf of the client
• Reconciliations of accounts

• 0-2 years of expertise in property and casualty insurance
• Basic excel knowledge such as using VLOOKUP and running pivots
• Excellent analytical skills
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Customer orientation to meet/exceed the expectations and requirements of customers
• Planning and organizing skills to ensure deliveries within defined timelines with accuracy
• Good problem solving skills
• Good presentation skills

About the Opportunity: Underwriting

The team helps in analyzing and compiling loss and exposure data required by the actuaries and underwriters for pricing accounts

What you'll be doing:

• Understand the needs of clients and meet requirements
• Submit data that is thoroughly reviewed, and relevant information extracted
• Enter projected and historical exposures related to different LOB's in a standard template
• Compile and aggregate losses across different coverages
• Compare and analyze data across years for consistency and reasonableness
• Highlight data concerns like missing files or incomplete data to actuaries and underwriters
• Summarize findings and assumptions
• Maintain metrics related to quality, turnaround times and productivity

  What you'll bring to the team:

• Expertise in applied mathematics/ statistics/ economics/commerce domain
• Excellent analytical skills
• Basic excel knowledge such as using VLOOKUP and running pivots
• Good problem-solving skills
• Good presentation skills
