Job Summary
Can handle patients very well.providing assistance to consultants and nursing staff.
1)Taking rounds with the consultant.
2)Take diagnostic appointments.
3)Dressing of surgical patients.
4)Discharge summary.
5)Emergency Case Handling.
7)Treat both out-patients and patients coming for admission.
8)They must go for ward rounds daily
9)Interested RMOs attend operation theatre procedures and assist surgeons.
Responsibilities and Duties
1)He/She must Take rounds with the consultant
2)Addressing patient complaints and if necessary it up to the concerned consultant
3)Follow up scan and lab reports and opinion taken from other specialists
4)He/She must Prepare discharge notes
5)Man the emergency/casualty
6)Attend ward patients before the consultant, make note of the necessary changes in symptoms,blood reports and treatment.
7)He/She must attend all in-patient emergency calls before the consultant arrives.
8)He/She must sign claim and reimbursement documents.
9)He/She must certify death and issue certificates.
