Job Description
Conduct routine rounds in the ward to monitor patient condition and progress.

Document and update medical records and patient histories accurately.

Ensure timely administration of medications and treatment as per consultant advice.

Attend to medical emergencies, perform initial stabilization, and escalate critical cases.

Assist consultants during procedures, assessments, and diagnostics when required.

Coordinate with nursing staff for smooth and continuous patient care.

Ensure availability and proper use of medical equipment and supplies in the ward.

Communicate with patient families to provide updates and counsel on treatment plans.

Maintain patient safety, hygiene protocols, and infection control practices.

Participate in internal audits, case reviews, and training programs.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Patient Care and Monitoring:

Provide immediate medical care and treatment to patients admitted to the ward.

Monitor and assess patients' health conditions, including vital signs, lab results, and progress.

Ensure proper medical records are maintained and updated regularly for each patient.

Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by consultants or specialists.

Carry out routine medical procedures and assist in emergency situations when necessary.
2. Emergency Response & On-Call Duties:

Be available for on-call duties, especially during nights, weekends, and public holidays to handle medical emergencies.

Respond promptly to medical emergencies in the ward and stabilize patients as necessary.

Coordinate with consultants and senior medical staff for critical care situations and escalate cases requiring immediate intervention.

Manage emergency situations, including life-threatening conditions, and provide timely interventions.
3. Assisting in Diagnosis and Treatment:

Assist in diagnosing medical conditions and determining appropriate treatment protocols.

Conduct physical examinations and analyze patient histories to inform clinical decision-making.

Work with specialists to devise comprehensive treatment plans for patients with complex or critical conditions.

4. Supervision and Coordination:

5. Collaboration with Other Medical Teams:
