Job Summary:

We are seeking a Ward Secretary to provide administrative and clerical support to ensure the smooth functioning of the hospital ward. The ideal candidate should have strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle patient-related administrative tasks efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

Administrative & Clerical Duties

  • Manage patient admissions, discharges, and transfers.

  • Maintain and update patient records and ward documentation.

  • Handle appointment scheduling and coordination with doctors, nurses, and other departments.

Patient & Staff Coordination

  • Assist patients and their families with information regarding hospital procedures.

  • Act as a liaison between patients, medical staff, and hospital administration.

  • Ensure smooth communication within the ward and handle incoming/outgoing calls.

Inventory & Supplies Management

  • Maintain stock of medical and non-medical supplies in the ward.

  • Coordinate with the procurement department for ordering essential supplies.

Billing & Report Preparation

  • Assist in processing invoices, medical reports, and insurance claims.

  • Prepare daily ward reports and patient status updates.
