Job Overview
We are looking for a highly organized and responsible Warehouse Incharge to manage our Hero Genuine Parts warehouse. The ideal candidate will oversee the stock management, dispatch operations, delivery tracking, and overall warehouse coordination. This role requires someone with good communication skills, strong inventory control knowledge, and leadership abilities to ensure smooth day-to-day warehouse operations.
Key Responsibilities
1. Inventory & Stock Management

Oversee stock receiving, storage, and dispatch of Hero Genuine Parts.

Monitor daily stock inward and outward movements and ensure timely updates in the system.

Conduct regular stock audits and verify physical inventory against system records.

Identify and report any stock discrepancies, damages, or shortages immediately.
2. Order Processing & Dispatch

Coordinate with sales teams to ensure timely order processing and accurate deliveries.

Supervise packaging, labeling, and loading of Hero parts for dispatch.

Maintain a delivery book to record outgoing materials and ensure proper documentation.

Liaise with delivery partners, drivers, and logistics teams to ensure smooth transportation.
3. Warehouse Operations & Maintenance

Manage overall warehouse cleanliness, organization, and safety.

Implement first-in-first-out (FIFO) or first-expiry-first-out (FEFO) inventory practices where applicable.

Ensure that all warehouse equipment is properly maintained and in working condition.
4. Documentation & Reporting

Maintain records of stock movement, purchase orders, delivery notes, and invoices.

Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports on stock status and warehouse performance.

Keep accurate documentation to comply with audit and company policies.
5. Team Management & Coordination

Supervise warehouse staff and allocate tasks effectively.

Train warehouse helpers on material handling, safety, and operational procedures.

Coordinate with other departments like sales, accounts, and logistics to streamline operations.
Required Skills & Competencies
Technical Skills
-
Knowledge of Hero Genuine Parts or experience in the automobile spare parts industry preferred.

Familiarity with inventory management systems (IMS), ERP software, and MS Excel.

Ability to prepare reports, maintain records, and manage warehouse documentation.
Soft Skills
-
Good communication skills to coordinate with suppliers, delivery partners, and internal teams.

Strong leadership and team management capabilities.

Excellent organizational and time management skills.

Problem-solving ability to handle stock shortages, dispatch delays, and operational issues.
Educational Qualifications

Minimum 12th Pass / Diploma / Graduate from any discipline.

Additional certification in warehouse management or logistics is an added advantage.
