Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Warehouse Incharge to oversee the pharmaceutical warehouse operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing inventory, ensuring compliance with pharmaceutical storage regulations, and optimizing warehouse processes to maintain efficiency and accuracy.
As a Warehouse Incharge, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe handling, storage, and distribution of pharmaceutical products while adhering to industry standards and regulatory requirements. Key Responsibilities
Warehouse Operations Management
- Oversee daily warehouse activities, including receiving, storing, and dispatching pharmaceutical products.
- Ensure proper storage conditions (temperature, humidity, ventilation) for sensitive pharmaceutical items.
- Maintain strict adherence to Good Distribution Practices (GDP) and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
- Implement efficient warehouse layout and space management strategies.
Inventory & Stock Control
- Monitor stock levels and ensure proper inventory management using FIFO (First In, First Out) and FEFO (First Expiry, First Out) methods.
- Conduct regular stock audits and physical inventory checks to minimize discrepancies.
- Coordinate with procurement and supply chain teams to ensure adequate stock availability.
- Identify and report damaged, expired, or non-compliant stock for proper disposal.
Compliance & Regulatory Adherence
- Ensure compliance with FDA, GMP, GDP, and other local regulatory guidelines for pharmaceutical storage.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of stock movements, batch numbers, and expiry dates.
- Ensure all pharmaceutical products are stored as per manufacturer guidelines and regulatory requirements.
- Coordinate with auditors and regulatory authorities during inspections.
Logistics & Distribution
- Supervise the timely and accurate dispatch of pharmaceutical products to distributors, hospitals, and retailers.
- Ensure proper packaging, labeling, and documentation for shipments.
- Work closely with logistics teams to optimize delivery schedules and reduce transit delays.
- Maintain records of dispatches, tracking reports, and proof of deliveries (PODs).
Team Management & Training
- Lead and supervise warehouse staff, including warehouse assistants and material handlers.
- Conduct training sessions on pharmaceutical storage, handling, and safety protocols.
- Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations, including proper use of PPE and equipment.
- Monitor team performance and provide coaching to enhance efficiency.
