Job Description
Key Responsibilities
Receiving & Storing: Unload incoming shipments, verify contents against delivery documents, and stock items in designated shelving or rack locations. [1, 2, 3, 4]
Order Fulfillment: Accurately pick items based on work orders, and pack them securely to prevent damage during transit. [1, 2]
Inventory Control: Conduct routine cycle counts and physical stock verifications to reconcile discrepancies. [1]
Equipment Operation: Safely operate material handling equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand carts. [1]
Safety & Compliance: Adhere to all workplace health and safety (OSHA/local equivalent) protocols, keeping the workspace clean and free of hazards. [1, 2]
Qualifications & Skills
Experience: 1–2 years in logistics, warehousing, or a manufacturing environment is preferred.
Physical Capability: Ability to stand for long periods and regularly lift or move heavy objects (typically 20–50+ lbs).
Technical Skills: Basic computer literacy and familiarity with digital inventory tracking systems or RF scanners.
Certifications: Valid forklift operation certification is a major advantage
