Water Purifier Service Technician
Job Description
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and customer-focused Water Purifier Service Technician to join our service team. In this role, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, servicing, and repair of domestic and commercial water purifiers and filtration systems. You will work both on-site and occasionally in-house to ensure the optimal functioning of water purification units and provide exceptional customer service. The ideal candidate should have solid technical knowledge, strong troubleshooting skills, and a willingness to travel to various customer locations.Key Responsibilities:
1. Installation and Setup

Install new water purifiers and filtration systems at customer premises, including wall-mounted, under-sink, and countertop models.

Conduct pre-installation checks such as water source inspection, electrical access, and structural support.

Configure system settings and ensure proper plumbing and electrical connections.

Provide customers with clear demonstrations on how to use and maintain the purifier.
2. Maintenance and Servicing

Perform scheduled and preventive maintenance on water purifiers, including filter replacements, membrane changes, and pump servicing.

Clean internal components and ensure all parts are functioning correctly.

Test water quality before and after servicing to ensure the unit is performing to standard.

Log service history and update customer records accurately.
3. Troubleshooting and Repairs

Diagnose mechanical, electrical, or water flow issues in purifiers of various brands and models.

Replace faulty parts such as pumps, filters, UV lamps, RO membranes, or control boards.

Repair leakages, blocked lines, sensor malfunctions, and other system failures.

Ensure that repaired units are fully functional and safe for use.
4. Customer Service

Interact professionally and courteously with customers, addressing their queries and concerns effectively.

Provide maintenance tips and answer technical questions in simple, understandable terms.

Promote annual maintenance contracts (AMC) and explain the benefits of regular servicing.

Collect customer feedback and escalate unresolved issues to senior technicians or management.
5. Reporting and Documentation

Complete job sheets, service reports, and inventory usage records after each visit.

Maintain accurate records of parts used, time spent, and any issues encountered.
-
Report recurring problems or defective product trends to the Service Manager.

Ensure tools and service equipment are maintained and calibrated as needed.
