Overview:
A Water Purifier Technician is responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing water purification systems at residential, commercial, and industrial sites. The role involves diagnosing issues, replacing filters, ensuring proper functioning, and providing excellent customer service. The ideal candidate should have technical knowledge of RO, UV, and other filtration systems, along with troubleshooting and repair skills.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Installation & Maintenance:
- Install RO, UV, and other water purification systems at customer locations.
- Perform routine maintenance, filter replacements, and servicing.
- Ensure proper system functioning and conduct quality checks.
2. Troubleshooting & Repairs:
- Diagnose and repair leaks, pump failures, pressure issues, and filter blockages.
- Identify and replace faulty components like membranes, filters, and motors.
- Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
3. Customer Support & Service:
- Educate customers on proper usage and maintenance of their water purifiers.
- Respond to customer complaints and resolve issues promptly.
- Provide after-sales service and offer recommendations for upgrades.
4. Documentation & Reporting:
- Maintain service logs, reports, and inventory records.
- Collect customer feedback and report recurring issues.
- Ensure timely submission of job completion reports.
5. Spare Parts & Inventory Management:
- Keep track of filters, membranes, and spare parts stock.
- Coordinate with suppliers for parts procurement.
- Maintain proper tools and equipment for servicing.
